We do this by creating innovative data products that help to improve transparency in the market. With 34,000+ projects in our database including details about the project, carbon credits, buyers, retirements, news, brokers, resellers, prices, forward curves and much more. Our current clients include corporations, financial institutions, brokers, academia, consulting firms, public sector entities, and research organizations.

Why We Do It 📊

Carbon offsetting is becoming increasingly popular as companies and individuals around the world take a more active role in mitigating climate change. However, the market is very fragmented with (until now) no central registry for all the projects, making it difficult to know what the projects are, and how they compare with others. Our database allows a wide variety of industry actors to access information on projects across all registries, in order to make the market more transparent and available to all.

About the Role  💼

We’re looking for a driven and independent Business Development Executive based in Singapore to help us grow our client base in Asia. You’ll be our first commercial hire in the region, responsible for leading outbound sales efforts and building strong relationships with organisations interested in sustainability and carbon markets.

This is a remote, stand-alone role reporting into our UK-based team. You’ll need to be self-motivated, commercially sharp, and excited about growing our presence in a fast-developing market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
    • Identify and reach out to potential clients in Singapore and the wider region
    • Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present suitable AlliedOffsets solutions
    • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects through outbound efforts
    • Tailor pitches and demos to client needs, showcasing our data platform and solutions
  • Deal Closure
    • Take full ownership of the sales cycle from first contact to signed contract
    • Meet or exceed sales targets, with a strong focus on new business
    • Collaborate with UK-based team for pricing, product updates, and support
  • Regional Market Development
    • Represent AlliedOffsets at events, conferences, and webinars
    • Gather insights on local market trends and client needs to inform strategy
    • Help shape our regional go-to-market approach
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and potential clients to generate leads
  • Pipeline Management 
    • Use HubSpot to accurately track and manage the status of all leads and opportunities, ensuring that this is kept up to date regularly
    • Communicate proactively with the UK-based team, ensuring updates on pipeline progress, market learnings, and blockers are shared regularly
    • Use data to identify bottlenecks or drop-off points in the sales process and suggest improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, data, sustainability, or fintech
  • Experience with outbound sales and managing full sales cycles
  • Confidence working independently
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven
  • Comfortable working remotely and across time zones
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
  • Prior experience or deep interest in carbon markets is a bonus
